Richard Leahy Book Signing Friday June 12, 6-8pm

We are thrilled to announce the return of Richard Leahy to the Adventure Farm Tasting Room. On Friday June 12 from 6-8pm, Leahy will be on site to sign his newest edition of Beyond Jefferson's Vines. Leahy's book focuses on the complete story of wine in Virginia. He blends history with travelogue and basic viticulture. Leahy draws from his expertise of covering wine in Virginia for the past thirty years.

Most exciting is the inclusion of Adventure Farm in the second edition of Beyond Jefferson's Vines. Leahy writes,

"The single red under their own label is 'Gigi's Red Blend,' and is a wonderfully juicy, dry and drinkable 50/50 blend of Chambourcin and Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is seductively juicy with bramblefruit, and just enough tannin from the Cabernet Sauvignon for balance and structure; the perfect red for summertime slightly chilled, full of flavor and very versatile. May was a great month at the Adventure Farm Tasting Room! We opened the doors May 8 and enjoyed seeing our neighbors and friends. The music and food has been great. Thanks to all the musicians that came out... Sam Cregger, Michael Clem and Thomas Gunn, Koda Kerl and Freeman Mowrer, Matty Metcalfe... and food trucks... Big Easy Metro Market, MWO, Spiked and Charley's Chili. We look forward to having everyone back out real soon!
